Firas Ali, an Iraqi political activist, was detained at the office of the Federation of Workers’ Councils and Unions in Iraq, Baghdad, at about 2pm on 13 April. A protester, Haidar Shihab Ahmad Abdel Latif, is believed to have been detained on 1 April on Tahrir Square, Baghdad. Their whereabouts are unknown. Former political prisoner Lotfi Dassi was arrested by security forces in Tunisia on 23 November, apparently in relation to his activities to secure financial aid for families affected by floods in the town of Redeyef.
