Pakistani journalist Rehmatullah Darpakhel, who was abducted on 11 August 2011, was released on 12 October and is now recovering with his family.
On the afternoon of 11 August 2011, journalist Rehmatullah Darpakhel was abducted by unknown men as he shopped for groceries in his home town of Miran Shah in North Waziristan, in north-western Pakistan. [ Lire la suite » ]

Firas Ali, an Iraqi political activist, was detained at the office of the Federation of Workers’ Councils and Unions in Iraq, Baghdad, at about 2pm on 13 April. A protester, Haidar Shihab Ahmad Abdel Latif, is believed to have been detained on 1 April on Tahrir Square, Baghdad. Their whereabouts are unknown. On 17 February Colombian environmentalist Sandra Viviana Cuellar Gallego may have been subjected to enforced disappearance in Cali, western Colombia, on her way to give a lecture at the National University in nearby Palmira. Aakash Mallah, Vice Chairman of the Sindh nationalist party Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), and JSQM activist Noor Mohammad Khaskheli, were abducted on 30 October, in Sindh province, south-eastern Pakistan.
